Wine and Olive Oil

PEF Tour

2025

Join Us to Experience the Future
of Wine and Olive Oil Production

See for yourself how Elea PEF technology is revolutionising the industry—and bring your own product to test in the Elea PEF Advantage P1e system!

We invite you to participate in the Elea PEF Tour 2025, as our experts journey through Italy and Spain during the wine and olive harvest seasons.

Discover firsthand how Pulsed Electric Field (PEF) technology is transforming wine and olive oil production, enhancing quality, increasing yield, and improving efficiency.

At the heart of the tour is the Elea PEF Advantage P1e system, installed in a specially adapted trailer designed for live demonstrations. Our Elea PEF experts will be there to showcase how this cutting-edge technology can help producers unlock new levels of quality and efficiency in their processes.

Elea PEF Application Services

We take your product and apply our industry-leading knowledge and experience to provide a PEF solution that will deliver the greatest value to you.

  • Contact us to explore how PEF can benefit your product and production line. Our expert consultation will reveal the possibilities PEF offers and how it can enhance your product's quality and economic performance.

  • We evaluate and fine-tune PEF for your product in our purpose-built pilot hall in Quakenbrück. It is fully equipped with advanced facilities designed to replicate your production process with precision.

  • To assess the performance of our PEF Advantage systems on an industrial scale, we offer the option to install one of our systems on a rental basis directly within your processing facilities.

  • To optimise the application of PEF in your production, we provide support in adapting your processing line, including adjustments to frying times, blanching times, and other critical parameters.

  • Our expert installation teams work closely with customers to ensure the smooth, efficient, and successful integration of our systems into their production lines.

  • Skilled and properly trained staff are crucial to your success. That's why we provide customised PEF Advantage system training, both in-house and on-site, tailored to your specific needs.

  • Following installation, we assist you in optimising the PEF process to achieve the best results for your product. We offer remote monitoring, allowing ELEA PEF systems to be connected for diagnostic analysis and support from our Customer Service Department. ELEA provides a specialised package for this service.

  • After sales, we offer 24/7/365 emergency support to assist you with technical issues. Additionally, you can reach out to us for guidance on optimizing the efficiency of PEF for your products.

We have two fully equipped PEF pilot halls at our facility in Germany, one for solid application and one for liquids. Here, we can accurately assess and develop the best PEF solution for your product.

  • Our PEF Pilot systems for solid and liquid products offer the flexibility to use various chamber sizes making it perfect for trial runs that demonstrate PEF technology.

  • In our pilot halls, we have the capability to test various product properties, including texture, humidity, and colour, using advanced equipment such as a Texture Analyser, Moisture Analyser, and more.

  • In addition to physical tests, we also offer chemical analyses such as antioxidant capacity, protein determination, enzymatic activity measurements, and polyphenol content assessment.

  • For microbiological analyses, we offer a range of services, including:

    • Cultivation of non-pathogenic cultures

    • Microbial examination for specific germs, such as E. coli and lactobacilli

    • Determination of total bacterial count, as well as yeast and mould levels

    • AI-based bacterial count analysis immediately following PEF treatment

    • Microscopic analyses

  • To provide a realistic assessment of your product's processing, we offer various methods to carry out processing steps, including:

    • Production of fried products using industrial cutting and frying equipment

    • Drying of products through hot air or freeze-drying

    • Disinfection of liquid products using PEF technology
